THE BELLY: is the brain of the body... Peoples GUT health "bacteria levels" is out of balance.. LEAN MORE ABOUT dysbiosis and the reason why you feel FAT & TIRED!!!!!!!
Dysbiosis is a CRAZY CONDiTION OF THE GUT "BELLY"
This is an imbalance between good bacteria and bad bacteria in the gut.
How? Yikes our CRAPY American Diet is fully loaded with processed foods, sugars, chemicals, pesticides... Most peoples reaction to feeling crappy is to it blow off the symptoms as nothing serious.. If you don't listen to the beginning symptoms your gut problems develop into leaky gut syndrome ... PROMISE you don't want that
Watch out for Constipation and Diarrhea
You probably don’t realize it but the bulk of your stool is actually made up of live and dead bacteria from your digestive tract. If you are constipated then that is typically a sign that you lack enough beneficial bacteria or that yeast, fungi, or Candida has taken over. Diarrhea on the other hand is typically a sign that your body is trying to remove harmful bacteria or parasites in a hurry. Often times this is a losing battle. Either way, both conditions are a result of dysbiosis.
Light stimulates the brain and hormonal system as it enters the body through the eyes and skin activating the body for movement. Your body naturally releases cortisol in response to light, which then signals the body to prepare for work or whatever you need to do in your day.
If we follow our “natural” sleep/wake cycle, we rise with the sun and begin to wind down as the sun sets. This means we are awake between 6 and 7 AM and asleep by around 10:00 to 10:30 PM. It is extremely important to understand why we need sleep during this cycle and not on a man made schedule. Our body physically repairs between the hours of 10 PM and 2 AM. After 2 AM, our psychogenic (mental) repair begins and continues until we are awake.
If we disrupt this natural circadian rhythm, our coritsol levels are elevated above normal during times we should be at rest. Being that most of us have enough additional stress in our lives, the additional stress caused by inappropriate sleep is just another factor that leads to illness or dis-ease. Our bodies can only absorb so much stress before we our health suffers. Following a natural sleep/wake pattern allows our bodies to recover and heal and is essential to good health.
SO it is often hard to break the bad habit of staying up too late. In my own life, when people stay up late and go to sleep at around 2 AM every night thinking the circle is “normal” YIKES... THEY HAVE no idea they are putting their bodies under incredible stress.. even if they think they feel fine... Staying up too late (until midnight or after) for even a few weeks in a row can set your internal clock to produce extra cortisol at midnight when you should already be asleep. Often we refer to this as “getting our second wind”. If you are sluggish often in the early evening but get a second wind later at night, you can be sure that your adrenals are being highly taxed and producing cortisol when they should be resting.
One of the biggest problems from stay up too late is adrenal failure. Adequate sleep is necessary for adrenal repair and strong healthy adrenals are essential to burning fat and staying young looking inside and out.. You cannot have strong adrenals if you are not sleeping normal hours that match our-given circadian rhythm.
STAYING UP LATE MAKES YOU FAT AND SICK!!!
Your body goes into over drive to stay awake... this makes you adrenals "hormones go WACKY.. too much cortisol will make you body store fat and break down your cells..
If you think you are naturally a night owl.. you in denial!!!
You are staying awake because of the coffee, sugar and plenty of tav, noise and lights!
CRAPPY SLEEP!!!!!! I realized about 2 weeks ago the reason WHY I was waking up in the middle of the night and feeling so alert that I could run a mile... YIKES! After reading a bunch of articles on sleep I had an epiphany, my body was going into gluconeogensis... GLUCONEOGENEIS is when your body breaks down muscle tissue for quick glucose to the brain and body, this quick rise in blood sugar forces you to wake up with an adrenaline surge .. GEEEZZ I was eating dinner too early and/or not getting in enough energy foods to get my body fueled with glycogen through the night.. I was eating fish before bed... BAD SOURCE OF ENERGY! REMEDY: now I eat a table spoon of extra virgin coconut oil before bed... Because I eat coconut fat and not carbs this means that my body only takes what it can burn and does NOT STORE converted triglycerides !! LEARN MORE ABOUT: extra virgin coconut oil as energy :)
People often ask me what is the best way to burn fat and tone muscle , I suggest that they look at long distance runners vs. short distance sprinters!!!!!!
STARVING LONG DISTANCE RUNNERS
The long distance runners are a MESS, they burn their muscle and adrenals, weaken their metabolism by chronically going into glyconeogeneis, this is when your body breaks down muscle to quickly to receive a nice supply of glucose "energy/fuel" this is how the body adapts to not fall into a coma, literally.
must rely on super powerful strength for short bursts of energy output and A LOT OF RECOVERY..
A sprinter must fuel their bodies adequately with the right pre, during and post foods as well as forced recovery... otherwise the sprinting performance would be compromised!
TREADMILLS VS. INTERVAL TRAINING
This comparison applies just the same as taking a kick boxing class or doing an hour of cardio.. it only takes running up to 3 miles before you bodies energy sources become depleted.. Your metabolism slows down, your adrenal fight or flight systems become burnt out.. and you still remain flabby!
Where as interval training for example: 1 min sprints with 3-4 min recovery will help you bust your metabolism because of being able to recover before your energy systems become depleted..
OR WEIGHT TRAINING: 6- 12 rep max with 1 min of recovery as the same effect!!
When your on a LOW CARB diet you need a quick boost of energy for your workout! I use COCONUT OIL because it is metabolized similar to a carbohydrate! You can use this stuff on your hair and skin also! My favorite is to make COCONUT ICE CREAM!!! I'll post the recipe later but for now go buy some coconut oil and incorporate it into your diet!! It also has anti-fungal properties! GO BUY IT NOW! You don't store it like most fats, you burn it for energy!
Just a quick mobile upload from the gym today! Do you notice a trend with people who don't eat enough? Lots of Cardio? Mushy muscles and SKINNY FAT!? Perhaps a different approach is needed to getting lean! I do NO cardio!
